It’s written like an 8th grade boy, full of tropes and weird explanations. Perhaps as a debut novel it’s good, if he wasn’t a rapper with language skills. I’d be shocked he can make songs when this writing is so fucking bad. I tried to give it a go and push through but it didn’t get any better

Great book! Logic’s first book leaves me wanting more from him. He’s an amazing story teller and I couldn’t put the book down. I got sucked into the book and felt as if I was in Flynn’s shoes. Brings awareness to anxiety and depression in an insightful way.

I did not enjoy the writing style. It’s giving high school essay (derogatory). It started so slow, I almost DNF’ed. Unfortunately I own this, so I felt obligated to finish. It picked up the pace but did not get much better.

This book was absolutely difficult to read. It took me three long months to finish because I refused to iAds it to my DNF list due to the fact that it was a very thoughtful Christmas gift from my little brother who knew I’m a big Logic fan.
With that being said, I would only recommend this book to people who are a fan of Bobby and don’t usually read.
