It was okay. Cool to read a novel by Logic. But besides that, I did feel like the first hundred pages was a rather dull build-up to the big plot twist that got revealed way too quickly. Wish there was more foreshadowing or that plot twist/shocker got revealed over a longer duration. But I was intrigued that point on. Ending was pretty good...not great. But I did get hooked and sucked into this book - staying up late to finish!
A melhor forma de resumir esta obra é: nada de novo. É um plot que já vimos várias vezes, pedaços espalhados por várias formas de entretenimento. Apesar de ser possível prever todo o plot nas primeiras 50 páginas, a primeira metade conseguiu ainda captar alguma da minha atenção. Foi quase como se tivesse a reler o livro ao poder prestar atenção às pequenas pistas que o autor ia deixando. A segunda metade é muito pior: arrasta-se durante 100 páginas que pouco acrescentam à história. Desculpando os erros ortográficos, é fácil perceber que não foi escrito por alguém experiente e falta muito trabalho de edição (you go Logic, maybe se fosse um livro de poemas? idk). Os diálogos são repetitivos e as personagens interagem de maneira pouco realista. A compreensão do autor no que diz respeito a doenças mentais graves parece derivar completamente de preconceitos e de uma breve pesquisa no Google, o que é observável a partir de algumas ideias erradas do senso comum que foram evocadas no livro (por vezes, por médicos!!). A parte que me interessou mais foram os *poucos* capítulos que tratam a convivência com ansiedade e com ataques de pânico. O autor atinge bastantes pontos certos (o que faz sentido, por este já ter passado por episódios semelhantes) e é refrescante testemunhar uma visão tão honesta do que é viver com esta patologia.

I for one think this is a pretty awesome debut novel. I get where people are coming from with their one and two star reviews, some scenes were definitely cheesy. However, I think the dialogue reflected awkward human interactions pretty well. The foreshadowing made the story fun. Also, the informal stream-of-thought writing style was fresh and different. I don’t pick up many books that are written this way, they are admittedly harder for me to get into. That’s what makes this book stand out for me; it hooked me in. I really enjoyed Supermarket and I think it’s a great read for anyone looking for something quick and unique.
I honestly enjoyed this book. I read some reviews where it was only given 1 or 2 stars. I had no idea who Bobby Hall was so I had no expectations! I laughed out loud at parts of the story! The only thing I didn’t like about the book was the texture of the cover. I have never read a book like this before and would tell people to give it a chance.
Seriously don't read this book. Reading it really feels like one is reading a poorly written high school assignment in the style of the Fight Club.
I liked the first half of the story and breezed through it, but once I got to the second part I sort of lost interest. It’s not the worst book I’ve ever read but I just can’t get back into it. The plot requires great suspension of disbelief and unfortunately I no longer could enjoy reading.
