I loved this book. The main characters voice was unique and kept me engaged the entire novel.

Meh. I enjoyed the concept of this book, but I really didn’t care for the writing style. It was a little too descriptive for my liking. It also felt like it had a bit of an anti-climactic ending.

This book makes me conflicted. On one hand, it was a quick, easy read. Entertaining. Stuffy and pretentious, though, and the first half is off-putting. I suppose I assumed - based on the "Gone Girl" comparisons, that the lead character was NOT to be trusted and she'd done something horrible.

This is not the case.

I still have problems though. I HATE the name TifAni FaNelli. It was insanely annoying. Tif-Ani and Fa Nelli or Fanelli or Fa-Nelli, but all squashed together is so unlikely. I know it was supposed to symbolize Ani's corny, conventional past, but *shudder*.

This is a book I'd love to have a conversation with someone about. A little more beneath the surface, much like Ani herself, I guess. 3.5 stars.

This was badly written trauma porn.

An unthrilling drag of a book- very nearly DNF

When something does actually occasionally happen it's not written in an engaging way.
