2.5 stars. The whole "queen" mentality of Laurel made me want to barf. Girl, you woke up in a dystopian future, no one cares about your fitness empire and custom nikes.
Can we please please please stop glorifying the whole “if I ignore my emotions they will go away” mindset in fantasy FMCs. It’s not cool. Add to that how fucking shallow and selfish this woman is. She’s not tough. She’s a bully who got dropped into another time and she’s pissed because she’s not in the place of power anymore. Plus, she has no time to recover even when it seems like she isn’t needed for anything specific. Fuck that whole mindset. Plus she’s fat phobic as hell. And over exercises. Nope.
