The plot in the series is getting vague and weird. I just wished there was more relationship build-up scenes
I haven’t been reading lately so I figured audiobooks would be great. So far so good until this book.
I didn’t like the female narrator at all.
I also hated this couple. They don’t have chemistry and never should have gotten together. They’re too toxic for each other and selfish.
Gotta power through this part of the series though, so on to the next!

Laurel is the ultimate queen bish, and this book is great. I love showing her as hard and soft, because we all are, and her helping Thorne become that too

I enjoyed Laurel and Thorne's story, and I appreciate the author has her characters talk shit out instead of "oh, they had good intentions, it's fine". Both of them attempted to use jealousy to bring the other around and it went as well as one would expect, glad they both end up talking things through at various points. I'm hopeful the Prime will turn out to be trustworthy and she seems to be changing in a good direction, she is owning up to the consequences of the choices she made trying to save the world. Also looking forward to these Guardian Games Laurel wants her to start. I'm looking forward to Jasper and Ada's book next, though unfortunately for Ada she won't have Laurel and Clarke to help her adjust and she'll have to adjust on her own like Clarke did.
