I really liked reading this book, love the magic and the World building.
Laurel and Thorne were beautifully written, and I'm really glad the author stayed true to the character's personalities, and didn't have them swoon over each other from the start.
They are both strong willed and strong individuals, and it was great that they understood that choosing to be together was more important than a well blessed blue tattoo, marking them as mates!
I'm loving this series!
Can't wait to read the next book (or listen to it, on Scribd, ha, ha!)

😳😤🥵
I have so much to say about this plot! Am I obsessed? Hell yes.
Laurel is just a dreamgirl. She is so badass and won't take shit. I love it! I always get scared once I love a book series, because eventually I dislike most of the FMC, but I truly doubt that will happen here. Each is written so realistically that you fall straight in. They are relatable and so lucky 😭
Thorne needed Laurel to kick his butt into line. This dynamic was so fun to read and just experience!
Maybe others could see this coming earlier in the book but find the missing guardian locked away like this was NOT what I was expecting!!

Ohlalalala it was amazing, I just loved it, I couldn’t stop reading it !! Each time we’re going deeper in this universe it’s just awesome, I just want to know what will happen to all the guardians, each character seems so great ❤️
But first Laurel and Thorne, what an epic couple, they were clearly made for each other. In her time Laurel was on top of her world, owning her company, making people fit, and she survived a torture session with Bones. That let deep scars not only physical, but Laurel is stronger than her fears or hesitation, her self-confidence and optimism will help her conquer anything, especially a taciturn wolf fae.
Thorne felt alone his all life, his mother was executed after giving birth, his father was cursed and disappeared from his life until his return with his human mate. Thorne is filled with resentment, bitterness, he doesn’t want to acknowledge his father and his new family. For him, his mentor Jasper is more like a father, and he will do everything to finally find him even going on a trip with Laurel (who is supposed to be his mate, but he doesn’t really want to think about it).
With so many actions, emotions, twists, it’s impossible to be bored !! The Well is quite good at pairing

This book was pretty bad. I hoped for more robust character development and world-building, especially since this is the second book. But the two main characters from this book were the same as the first, just *slightly* repackaged.
The only redeeming part of this book was the little girl; we got to see far too little of her. It's not worth reading.

Moderate: Sexual content, Torture
Laurel and Thorne have an epic love story, there were so many twists and turns that I wasn't sure they could make it. The multibook universe is unfolding so well while also melding to fit each couple's own love story!
This was a good follow up to book 1 which I read a few months back. I enjoyed the storyline, characters, drama, and overall plot that stretches over several books.
The book definitely makes you want more so I will be adding book 3 to my tbr. It would have been nice to see a bit more depth to the relationship building.

I finished this and jumped to the grid one but couldn't finish the series thingy. The world building was interesting but I felt like warm at most for the couples and characters. Not as intruiging as I thought it would be
5 stars in the sky to Laurel and Thorne
I absolutely loved every inch of Thorne and Laurel’s story. This was such an amazing enemies to lovers with close proximity, I didn’t want it to end!
The way the author has built this world has taken me by such surprise. I’ve never been one to like dystopia based books, but she has created a world that I’m so intrigued to imagine and visualize.
If you haven’t read this series, do yourself a favor this year and add it to the TBR you plan on reading.
