Me ha gustado la idea (un vampiro "rehabilitado" que ejerce de padre de familia) y, sobre todo, el personaje principal. Pero la historia en sí me ha parecido falta de ritmo a ratos. Interesante.

This was a quick fun read. Kind of heart-warming really.

Sharp and funny, a twist on Dracula that I haven't seen before but was absolutely thrilled with.

Dracula living his life in modern day. Oh, and he has a wife and son.

How does the world's most famous vampire adapt to living as one of us?

This story was a lot of fun, "sympathy for the devil" except that I actually came to see the struggle inside Vlad. It was weird, it was fun, and all in all it was a really great short story.

Check it out on Tor.com, it is worth your time.

Halfway through I eyerolled and thought "Ugh, it's Dracula's midlife crisis" but by the end I was captured. It was much more than that. Great story.

Vampire and family man Vlad. The fact that he fell in love with a woman that hunted him and they settled down with each other? So cute.

The way the author talks about heightened senses, how Vlad perfected acting like a human, the stalk and the bad omens that tell Vlad’s wife he’s stalking someone again.

The ending was very sweet where Vlad let the façade go and was himself with his son, just for his son to be just like him. I think it was the smile for me when his son understood what they were, stopped shying away and can now embrace being himself. A little vampire in the making.
