This is now a complete duology. The Unbound Witch was the final book. I enjoyed this series. The plot was predictable but in a comforting way for me. I felt like it had a good pace and I loved the banter of the best friend character Kirsi. I would definitely read another series by this author. The Unbound Witch book was a 3.2/5 and a 2/5 for spice, but overall the series gets a 3.5/5 just because I loved the character so much

The second half of the book was much better than the first. Kirsi was the saving grace
