Really enjoyed this series. First book was so good, this one was still good but a little harder to follow at times. I usually don’t like when a series goes form single pov to multi but I enjoyed this one

What an epic conclusion!

The Unbound Witch takes what was set out in book 1, and goes on an epic adventure/emotional rollercoaster which compounds in a totally epic conclusion.

The major theme/trope of this book is the found family vibes - they would do anything for each other, and that gives you the warm and fuzzies the whole way through.

Bastians devotion to Raven? You literally couldn’t ask for more from a book boyfriend.

The book is written well, the plot is flushed out immaculately, and the plot twists were not always what you would expect which made it such a fun read!

I was so excited to read this book. My only grievance is I felt it was a little longer than needed and parts of the plot seemed to gap. I wad wondering if I had skipped parts of the story. It was a really good duology and I absolutely love how deep the love between B & R was. Not sure if that kind of love is real, but it makes you wish it was. Not very spicy/steamy maybe a 1 or 2 and not many scenes in the book, but still good. I'd recommend it.

This just felt so disjointed because the pacing was weird. It was super slow the first 65% then at around the 70% mark it picked up

I think I cried my way through this whole book, in such a good way.

Every moment either ripped my heart out of my chest or lovingly taped it back together.

This was a magical, moving, heartfelt story about friends, lovers, community, and the importance of caring for all those around you. Such a perfect ending to the story, and I’m excited to read the novella about Atlas.

I don’t not like it…Kirsi has way too chapters from her POV. She was a secondary character in the first book and was more involved in this one than Bastien was. It was just strange and felt like we had her book within this book. Other than that it was good and ending on a HEA.

Unbound Witch was the perfect ending to the first book, Unmarked Witch. It’s full of love, found family, and all things adventure. I loved the intricacies woven throughout the book! May or may not have been on the verge of tears towards the end…

Book two of this duology was definitely my favorite of the two.

Grief, anxiety, independence, and self sacrifice tied with some really yummy smut and some budding found family - like count me the f*ck in.

All in all - this is a great read, move it up your TBR, or order the paperback (like I will be doing) so you can reread this book whenever you want - because you'll want to go back.
