I loved the first book in this duology, but this second book fell a bit short for me. I still give it four stars because the themes of found family made the read worth it. I found the POVs and scattered plot lines extremely confusing at times. While the storyline was captivating, the back and forth throughout the whole book made getting lost inevitable.

An intense and emotional conclusion to the Unmarked duology! The Unbound Witch picks up right where the first book left off, with Raven reeling from heartbreak and the weight of her choices. The stakes are higher, the magic more dangerous, and the emotional punches hit even harder. I loved watching Raven and Kirsi grow into their new realities, especially as they faced enemies both old and new. The world is richly layered with betrayal, sacrifice, and twists I didn’t see coming. If book one was about survival, this one is about redemption—and the ending? Absolutely worth the journey.

Great start to a romantasy duology full of high-stakes, deadly trials, witches, shifters, and warring communities. This was faced-paced and left me wanting more! Cliffhanger ending, but second book is available so on to the next.
