This was okay. I think the dual point of view was confusing between Raven and Kursi. I was constantly flipping back to the header to remember whose head I was in.

I also found myself rereading passages as I was confused as what was happening between everything. Overall I think book 1 was stronger and book 2 was endless tasks. Every gathering of the books felt like the same just a different coven.

While I really enjoyed The Unmarked Witch, this sequel missed the mark for me.

The reveal of Grey/Bastian was really obvious and disappointing, because I thought we were past that by the end of book 1. I mourned Grey's character and was hoping to learn more about him. I also had a hard time getting invested in Kirsi's POV and found myself wanting to skip her chapters.

I did like newcomers Torryn and Atlas, but it was weird how close everyone became in a matter of days. It just didn't feel genuine to me that Kirsi would feel so deeply for Atlas after a couple of banter sessions.

I was really hoping for some stellar twist at the end, but the whole flip flop of shifters/witches was not it.

I plan to read the novella since I do like Atlas and hope he can find his person.

I loved the first book, but I found this one really frustrating. It was honestly so hard to get through. By the end, I was pretty much just skimming all of Raven's chapters to get to the next part.

I loved The Unmarked Witch but this one was just boring. I’m over 50% through the book and feel like not much has actually happened and it’s just dragging.

☁️ The Unbound Witch by Miranda Lyn just broke me. I had to take a few emotional breaks while I paced around my house dealing with the heartache I was experiencing for these fictional characters. But yet, that is what I look most forward to, I want to be emotionally wrecked and this series delivers. This is absolutely a 5 star read for me due to the spice level, characters, unexpected twists, love story and just the emotional journey it took me on. Happy Reading!

The first 100 pages answered pretty much all my questions so then I lost interest

I devoured the first book in a day but I have been trying to read this for 3 months. This fell flat, and I felt so bored. Everyone seems to love the ending but at this time I cant put myself through this.

*Sigh*

There was such potential here. Read my review of the first book for my thoughts on this one.
