I liked this one the best! Lots of action (especially at the end) with lots of twists and turns. Entertaining series overall with a happy ending.

This was probably my least favorite book in the trilogy (bc I'm not reading the rest of this series and think it should have been a trilogy that is what I will call it). I really loved the story still and America and Maxon's ending did make me quite happy. I just think that coming back to this book a few months later, it wasn't very memorable for me and I wish it was because the first two definitely were.

This book is an emotional roller coaster and I loved it.

I really wanted to like this, but the ending ruined it. Yes, we all knew from the beginning that America would win. But Maxon going from I’m going to marry you to you evil heartbreaker to I love you more than life itself in the span of about 12 hours was stupid. At least hear an explanation from America? It would have been better if the Aspen thing was revealed earlier so that America and Maxon had to deal with it instead of all the other crap that happened in the book.

But still this was a nice fluffy series to read.

this book was the first book I really love hated. it frustrated me and made me laugh and cry and ugh this is an awful review. But I will say this entire trilogy was so worth waiting for to marathon because I don't think I would have been able to wait if I read them when I bought them. this was such a fun series to read and despite it's minor flaws, I really really enjoyed it

My anxiety reading this and waiting for the final decision at the end was at an all time high. I am so invested into America Singer and it ended just as I wanted it to

Once again, not crazy about the love-triangle/competition that is the main storyline, I was getting more tolerant of it by this book. Probably because one of the characters (who shall remain unnamed due to potential spoilers) was really starting to irritate me.
Also once again, the underlying mystery surrounding Gregory Illea and the kingdom is fantastic! I really enjoyed this subplot throughout the entire first three books, and it's really what kept me reading.
Also, I love a redemption arcs, and I got one (again, this second character shall remain unnamed due to potential spoilers). On that note, the ending scenes, while again predictable with the main storyline, did get pretty intense and did tug at the heart-strings in places.
Overall, I enjoyed the books, but they were far from my favorite. Will I probably reread them? No. Will I probably eventually pick up the next two books and the novella collection? Most likely. Would I recommend them to others I think may like them? Yes, and I did recommend them to my grandma. Her thoughts were overall similar to mine, but she enjoyed the main plot more than I did.

This series as a whole: America is a dumb bitch but these books are so good.

TW/CW: Mass shooting in this one.

What?! Did I love this book? Did I hate it?
I guess I love to hate it...?

This whole series is just entertaining, infuriating sometimes, but still entertaining.

If you're looking for a quick, light-hearted escape from everyday life then this is perfect for you!
