Se nota que es el último libro de la saga. Todos se quieren, las más enemigas ahora se vuelven "compinches" inseparables... Los viejos amores maduran y crecen para convertirse en personas admirables... Pasa de todo, todo junto... Giros y giros que uno no se espera... Y sin embargo, todo parece como forzado.
Creo que se pudieron haber explotado más la historia de los rebeldes, y haberse revelado algunas cosas en el segundo libro (que NO PASÓ NADA), haberse desarrollado más la distopía de esta sociedad, que queda muy relegada en este cuento de hadas.
Me pareció que cada una de las cosas que se describen, fueron puestas para darle al final una adrenalina que careció esta saga desde el libro uno.
El primero me resultó tierno, sobre todo porque se había salido del estereotipo en que la chica se enamora perdidamente del príncipe... Pero después, "La elite" terminó por cansarme, y esta última entrega, me sonaba demasiado forzada. ¿Ya lo dije, no?
No quiero decir que haya sido mala, tal vez, a quienes les encante las historias de amor, esta sea una saga muy recomendada. Yo tengo unos temitas con eso, así que me cuesta identificarme con los personajes.
Tuvo un final esperado, con algunos giros interesantes, pero nada demasiado deslumbrante.

I definitely enjoyed this more than book 2, because the love triangle (mostly) resolved for this book. But I still can't say I enjoyed it. I feel like this book (and series) has some pretty harmful things to say about gender roles that I really just can't get on board for this, which is why I'm leaning towards a lower rating, and perhaps I'll change it someday later. I definitely wouldn't want a younger teenager to read this and think this is a relationship they want to aspire towards.
I kind of enjoyed it for the fluffy drama, but I can't say I have any interest in continuing on to the future books, or likely picking up Cass' future works. One of the reasons I would consider giving it a 2 instead of a 1 or 1.5 is simply that something in these books managed to get me to read the whole trilogy, which considering I wasn't into it, is somewhat impressive.
But overall, it's hard to consider this anything but a romance with some world building that needs a little help and such a great focus on the love triangle that it's hard to enjoy much else. They're definitely fluff books, and I can appreciate that, but I just couldn't get past the main character, gender role representation, and the focus on the love triangle to really enjoy the fluffiness of it.

And it ended with a spectacular bang!! The series is all out predictable yet it is still exciting and mind-boggling. I proudly say that I at least got two assumptions right (First, about America's Father and Second, about America and Maxon). Yay. It really is a great book. All lovey dovey and conspiring and thrilling and amazingly well written. It's a very refreshing break from all the rom-coms I'm currently seemed to be fixated to nowadays. Well, to wrap it up, great book, great cover, beautiful characters, lovable plot and all executed with wit and grace. Long live Kiera Cass!
Das ist er also. Der Abschlussband von "Selection" und leider ist der Inhalt nicht genauso ansprechend wie das Cover.
An die Dreiecksbeziehung habe ich mich mittlerweile gewöhnt und ja, es gibt durchaus besser erzählte Dreiecksbeziehungen, aber das ist es nicht, was mich an diesem Band gestört hat.
Tatsächlich hatte ich hier einfach mal wieder das gleiche Problem, wie bei einem Großteil solcher Romane. Am Anfang zieht sich die Story ewig und es passieren nur belanglose Dinge und kurz vor Ende geht es dann los. Eine Handlung nach der Anderen, viele davon wirken nur überstürzt und hektisch. Einfach schade.
Vorallem das tatsächliche Ende kam sehr plötzlich und wurde auf so wenigen Seiten abgehandelt, dass ich mich wirklich gefragt habe, ob man überhaupt drei Bücher zu dieser Geschichte braucht, wenn am Ende das Wichtigste in wenigen Zeilen erzählt wird.
