Tiffany und Salukh

I loved this book. The way Tiffany handles her anxiety and trauma made me feel so seen. Just not being able to take action, frozen in place, skirting under the radar for as long as possible until things explode. Literally me. Although that is not a healthy response I liked how real it was.

3 Ho! Stars!

This was my least favorite book thus far. There was a little too much OM drama.

“You must accept that there will be things in life that are not good, but they are outweighed by the good things. If there were no bad, we would not appreciate the wonders that life has to offer. There will be fear, but you must not let it win.”

The book begins when Tiffany has a nightmare of her time on the ship with the aliens that kidnapped her and the other women. She had been assaulted by them, and that has left her traumatized.
Tiffany and Josie are the two human females that have not yet resonated with anyone, and this makes Tiffany very popular among the males. But all the attention is unwanted, and all Tiffany wants is to be left alone.

“Ho, Tee-fah-nee. It is I, Salukh.”

Salukh is one of the men who want Tiffany. But for him, it's different because even though his khui is quiet, he knows Tiffany is his mate. Salukh also knows that he has to be patient with Tiffany because of her trauma. Hence, their relationship starts out as friends and progresses from there.

Overall, it was a sweet story. Still, I didn't find their book as exciting as the others, and I kind of just wanted to finish it to then be able to move onto Josie and Haeden's story.

I am pleased that my future mate feels comfortable enough in my presence to fall asleep. It is something. Not much, but something.

I absolutely loved this book it was so refreshing seeing a new kind of storyline that is completely different to what we have already seen and the slow burn between our two main characters was beautiful to read. I really thought I’d be over our blue men by now but every time I think there is nothing more to pull me back I get sucked right back in. I am so invested in this little ice planet it’s actually ridiculous!!
