Ignoring the fact that aquas a fucking weirdo, everything down to the art style and story telling is amazing, I find myself being attracted to even the side characters, I love ai so much still as I read it coming from rewatching the anime even though
I knew she dies
I the manga doesn't capture everything as well as the anime but it's still all too beautiful, oshi no ko is mysterious and funny and also informative about the lives of an idol, I get to genuinely feel for the characters and actually get backstory and personality to them which is amazing though also devistaiting
I teared up when ai died
, the idea isn't all too original it's Isekai idol though it somehow is just addicting to see as the plot gets u in line w the characters as if ur them. The anime was a 5 and the read was a 4 so I'm giving it 4.5! ( Completely ignoring the werid stuff )

a little disjointed since they tried to introduce multiple characters and their motives at the same time, but such a good and interesting premise! i also wish that the mc wasnt so creepy...

How is this marketed as a comedy? The premise is weird, sure, nothing revolutionary though. But the fucking second I thought I got this story figured out it does a 180 and slaps me in the face. This story jumps around between whacky comedy, hopeful coming-of-age and suspenseful mystery thriller SO fucking fast, holy shit. I got whiplash.
