The story keeps getting more interesting as it goes along, mostly tracking the evolution of Anton's character and his capabilities. I can't get over how much better the books are than the two movies that were based on them (the movies seem to be based more on episodes from the first book, with some stuff from the second book, but then it gets wrapped up neatly at the end).

Enjoying this series, but wow... I'm not sure I've come across anyone this misogynistic besides [a:Robert A. Heinlein|205|Robert A. Heinlein|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1192826560p2/205.jpg].

I think I liked this one better than the first two. While all of them are heavy on character development, and the narrative describes the inner thoughts of the main characters, this last installment shows even more sides of the people you think you know back to front already, especially since there are now marriages and children involved. It was a relief to finally have all the mysteries of the stories explained, even if all the plot lines and character twists are pretty confusing at times. But it would be out of character for the author to make everything simple, and it works perfectly for the stories of the chaotic lives of Others to be twisted and confusing and thoroughly amazing.

Better than the prior entries in the series. Still in three parts, but the three parts form a unified narrative. The story is interesting and flows well. The three part breakdown provides good mini-narratives that add in to a great overall narrative.
