Love love love this book!!! Bea is mad at the world (rightfully so after being screwed out of a promotion). She finally takes her life back into her own hands and does what she wants, like eat pie and drink beer for breakfast in the small town of Credence, CO. Add in a hot cop in that small town and you've got the best sexual tension! This book is so swoony and steamy. Save a horse, ride a cowboy would describe it perfectly!! But I also love that Bea takes her life back and falls in love while doing so. I did not want this to end. Go do yourself a favor and read it!

There are many admirable things about this book. I can appreciate the character development of Beatrice and the way she finds herself when she allows herself to live without the judgement of others. I can also appreciate the overall support from the love interest even when things do not go the way he hopes at times. Still cringing at the overuse of the word "panties" but overall a decent romcom.

I can’t get over the way Bea and Austin met. It was laugh out loud funny and I loved how Bea kept up her I don’t give a sh*t rule breaker attitude even though she was a nervous wreck on the inside. I loved their banter and how they got to know one another. I don’t read many age gaps but I feel like the author did a good job portraying the thoughts of an age relationship. While I don’t really like the way Bea handled a certain part of the relationship I was happy with how it ended.

 A decent book

She has the “fuck forced standards” attitude but still keeps commenting on how the pie she has started eating more often is getting on her waistline and stuff?
The flirting is instant and kind of fun. She’s absolutely in her head that she “shouldn’t do anything with the cop because he’s 25 and she’s 35.”

I understand the authors decisions but I'm not sure I liked the execution as much as I had hoped.

Well WELCOME go Credence 🔥

I really enjoyed my first trip to Credence and following Bea & Austin’s romance! I love Bea’s carefree, rebel attitude during her time in Credence, she had me cringing during her short trip back to LA. I found myself LOLing during Austin & Bea’s first interaction when she demanded being taken to the POKEY 😂

OHHH - the third curtain breakup, i was not a fan. & what Bea said to Austin i was like girl 😐 I could have done without that emotional curveball but was happen to see she came to her senses.

It’s giving: small town romance & reverse age gap.

It was a quick, funny, STEAMY read that I definitely enjoyed!
