Oh my god this book was like a m9voe in my mind! Even though I felt it was a slow start and a slow conclusion, when things started happening i couldn't stop listening. The characters were so believable, like you have know people like this. And for me is an easy book to make film.

Wow! I loved basically every moment of this story, the family was written so well I hated almost all of them, and I really felt  really connected to Anna. The ending though it dragged a bit felt very vindicating in a lot of ways . I think this book definitely speaks to the black sheep’s of the family and to those with dysfunctional families.

The first half of the book was really enjoyable, I loved the atmosphere and build up. Unfortunately, the second half of the book didn't so much fall off a cliff as slowly tumble down a hill. Overall a fun, solid read with engaging descriptions and good horror elements.
