I'm a sucker for bestfriends-turned-lovers trope, and this one right up there among the good ones. 

Kelly epitomizes pining like a champ, with the oblivious Blue not understanding his inexplicable jealousy after seeing his BFF with someone else.

The pace of narrative is slow and steady, and the backdrop of their friendship gave enough credence for their pseudo-relationship to blossom.

Sometimes funny, sometimes pensive, this book isn't as dreary as some here claimed. Although both Kelly and Blue sometimes come off as selfish: Kelly for pushing Blue into admitting his feelings and Blue for stringing his best friend along.

But I was glad that everything gets sorted out in the end. Looking forward to the sequel.

I like the relationship between the MCs fr. That was realistic enough and their bond was actually more than just pining after each other. They laugh, they tease each other, they bicker. It felt real somehow.
Also I absolutely ADORE Kelly
