I honestly didn’t think this book was bad, def could have been better and had a bit more detail to really build on the characters backgrounds though. I’m still confused on how the FMC was “reborn” essentially so if anyone had an explanation that would be helpful because the description given didn’t explain it well. Like at all imo. 3.5 stars but I’m definitely still going to read the next one. Spice level was solid as hellllll. That’s what kept me goin honestly

The slowest plot progression ever, I could not get into it

I had a good time reading this!! It was super captivating and I found myself flying through it to see what happened next. I just wish the ending was paced a bit better or the book was a little longer? I’m not sure how to explain it, it just felt rushed and left me with so many questions. Even when some of the biggest plot-points/questions were answered I still felt like they weren’t really answered at all and that they left me with more questions than before. People and alliances just changed so quickly it was difficult for me to keep up and process I suppose.

Ok soo I just started and I'm getting major poppy vibes(from blood and ash) and then, Adrian comes along and honestly I thought from blood and ash is bad this is soo much worse too quick of a wedding, and they fuck quickly into the book alot. Heck this is wayy worse than from blood and ash
OMG IM READING THIS LINE AND WTF
"Fuck me,” I interrupted. “It doesn’t mean anything, Nadia.” She glared. “It does where I’m from".
Nadia has brains and because of it she's getting bullied, issi is the one that's a fucking idiot.

And let Me remind you that Issi likes s*x and does it for fun, wow Mrs. Girl is wayy to horny for her own good just like poppy. Poppy and Issi both became horny because of one * accidental* s*x encounter with their future husband or a touch of their lips to their skin likee honestly.

People creating too fucking horny characters isn't cool.

I finished this book in ONE day, if I finished it so quickly it must have been super good right? Yes, and no. It was a good steamy read, quick and straight to the point.

Some of the things that I enjoyed:
- a witty and strong female main character, paired with a completely smitten love interest (he fell first)
- ADRIAN ADRIAN ADIRAN
- the cast of character were loveable and I felt very attached to a lot of them (Sorin, Ana, and others whose names I honestly skipped over)
- I'm a sucker for fated lovers
- it was very spicy... too much though. Like I enjoyed how quickly we descended into the  spice because let's be for real why else did any of us pick up this book- but I tired of it quickly

Having said that let's talk about some things that made this a 3.5 star read instead of a 5 star
- I was expecting enemies to lovers but it was done really poorly because she literally wanted him from the moment she saw him and even when she knew he was her enemy
- Isolde was at times VERY annoying, but she grown on you as all the pieces fall into place
- they were such jealous lover like damn, Adrian couldn't been seen with a girl without Isolde giving him a lecture; and if anyone thought anything negative about Isolde Adrian would make sure tey never thought again
- Kiillian... man, he aggravated me so much
- I was a bit bored at some parts in the middle
- plot wasn't all there, steamy scenes can only get you so far I'm not sure I will be reading book 2 any time soon

I really liked the concept of this book and the spicy scenes but it felt like everything between needed to be fleshed out a lot more
