I'd watched the movie Goodfellas years ago and was impressed by Ray Liotta's acting. When I saw that a book about making the movie, Made Men: The Story of Goodfellas, came out I started it but decided I'd rather read this book that the movie was based on. The movie does follow the book closely. And then I watched the movie again.

While it was certainly an interesting read, if you've seen "Goodfellas" a lot, you won't learn anything new here. Only some minor details differ. Still, it's worth an easy read.

It maybe got an extra star because I heard all the quotes in Ray Liotta and Lorraine Bracco’s voices.
A really interesting way to view the ~mafia! Loved it, actually very surprised to find myself rooting for him!
