Although this was a powerful story about SA and how the main character had to deal with it and how her life changed afterwards, I found that this was a little to long. If it was a lot shorter I think it would have packed a more powerful punch than it already did.

I forgot how much I "enjoyed" Speak when I read the novel four years ago. I picked up this graphic novel at my local library and my god it is so powerful and the illustrations speak for the lack of words the graphic novel has (since you know its not the novel). By the end I was crying. I didnt think I would, but it was just that powerful and moving. Speak is definitely a must read for everyone and after that, pick up the graphic novel if you can. It's beautiful, sad, empowering, and moving.
