An absolute must read for everyone who is pondering and reflecting on their own life, their surroundings and how we interact with just about anything else. Pretty much for everyone.
I could have skipped be first half of the book - I knew it. It droned on like a monotone physics professor —- but the end of the book finally pulled together a thought out district message and I respect the idea
This book opened my mind to some exciting new ideas on how to view things, so it enthusiastically gets 5 stars.
It has been a while since I've read anything on systems thinking, and I found this book to be an easy-to-read re-introduction. It is easy to get swept away in inordinate amounts of detail when you're thinking in systems. Feedback loops seem endless. However, the author manages to provide well organized and clear ways to approach complex systems. This was certainly well work the read.
Beautiful. Took me by surprise as I actually expected it to be dry engineering material but it was far more philosophical and generally instructive about looking at life through the eyes of an objective, systems-oriented way of thinking.

Perfect title, as this is definitely a primer to understanding systems thinking. Good information and a lot to consider, I do wish the book delved into at least a few detailed examples of how systems thinking solved a big issue. The definition of seeing the big picture over getting lost in the weeds
