An excellent primer on systems thinking. A completely different perspective of how to view the world, in terms of interconnected components and patterns of behaviour.

Excellent introduction to system thinking. To the point, yet easy to understand.

Guideline to navigate through this nonlinear world.

Systems are interconnected things that work together towards a common goal. They are self sufficient and often take a life of their own as they do much more than their individual parts.

Great introduction to the idea that there are complex systems evident in the world, and that they are open to our understanding with application of the right tools. Not adequate at all in discussing what those tools might be.

It accomplishes that rare feat of actually making you look at the world differently, while enhancing your vocabulary to put that new view into words. Highly recommended.

This is essentially a college textbook; it's a hard slog to read it cover to cover. But it does cover the topic well, and is clear and seems (to my inexpert eye) to be complete.
