Actually 4.5 stars. I used this book for the popsugar challenge, as the book you own but have never read. I have no idea why I waited so long to finish this series off. I absolutely loved this one. Rose finally coming to her senses and Dimitri...just Dimitri. that plot twist was fantastic too. "I don't know but I think it's going to be good." FANTASTIC BOOK!

As with the other 5, Mead never fails to reach that ultimate climaxed conclusion. This one being even more so due to Rose's story having completely finished. Although part of me was sad to part ways with the heroin, I also deep down know it ended in a good place.
The twist at the end is always a good one, and pieces finally come together, tying everything off into neat little bows, giving us the almost-happy-ever-after we all secretly wanted. However this isn't your typical "Twilight-like-happy-ending". There was death, and parts of the series where your heart would be in your mouth, and you'd refuse to put the book down even though your clock was blinking 3:30am and you had to be up at 7am for work (we've all been there).
Needless to say once the announcement came for the Bloodline Series, I was ecstatic and pre-ordered. If you love this series you HAVE to read bloodlines.
