It was as others claim, a spooky Sapphic romance but felt more YA at points.
Not my favourite novel of the year, was glad to finish it and be able to move on as there was no denouement to the ending as such.

The story had a lovely tempo and beautifully descriptive. The narrator was wonderful and I love the way it was able to draw me in.
