This novel followed a structure that I've never heard or read before. We follow two half siblings and their children's lives. It felt like reading a short story collection and it takes us through a historical trip. I thought that the beginning of the story was more engaging than the latter chapters. Overall, I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone that wants a historical fiction that follows the life of different generations.
