Invisible
Danielle Steel
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
How would you like to feel like a mistake to your parents, and neither one of them wanted you? The beginning of this story absolutely broke my heart, which is something Danielle Steel is good at! This book was so good, but I am never disappointed by her books. Another amazing story!

First Danielle Steele book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. She really brought me into the story, I also rarely read books that are a fully life’s length.
Definitely is more of a contemporary novel than a romance.

I have read all of Danielle Steel’s fiction books. That is a lot of books. I don’t necessarily remember all of them and quite often some of the books are a little “fluffier” or “lighter” than other books I read. But, they are just like life. We meet people that we may not always agree with or that may have different life experiences that we choose to have. Sure, I may not always like seeing a starry-eyed young girl (and I intentionally use the word, “girl”) fall in love with a man more than twice her age, but I know somewhere in the world, those things happen. They may not end up being wealthy heiresses or world-renowned writers, but in Danielle Steel’s books, they are.
It may sound like I don’t like the books by this author, but I do. Sometimes I need to get a vicious psychological thriller out of my head, or I have a lot going on in my life and need a book that provides a bit of an escape. I can sit back and appreciate that my life has been better than some of the main characters of these books.
Invisible is a story of a young woman who has learned to be invisible as a coping mechanism while growing up with some terrible parents. Unfortunately, she was never nurtured and loved or taught any street smarts. While she did get into some potentially dangerous situations, she did happen to work hard and also be in the right place at the right time. You know how the story goes.
It is a very comfortable, almost familiar story, like so many of the books written by Danielle Steel. A quick read for an afternoon and the perfect thing to transition between some heavier reads. Enjoy!
Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, and Delacorte Press for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC of Invisible. Danielle Steels books are always such a quick and easy read for me. This one didnt last long and was so good. Talk about a disfunctional family, mom and dad were a total mess, and it is truly amazing that Antonia turned out so completely good and normal. I really wanted to just grab her dad and shake him for his insane craziness. Antonia had a great friend who was always there for her and then met an amazing man who was the love her life. Through loss and children she finally fulfilled her dreams and led a wonderful life. This book had was so insanely good, but i always devour Daneille Steels books. Thanks again to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.
