when i found out that luna was blind i didnt know what to think but now I'm so glad i read it.
DNF. Got pretty bored by the halfway point, interesting idea but it didn't grip me like other fairytale retellings have.

Ik denk dat ik iets te hoge verwachtingen had van dit boek. Het was absoluut een ontzettend leuk verhaal, maar ik mistte 'iets'. Het einde vond ik wel erg spannend (lees; wreed) dus ik ben blij dat ik deel twee ook al klaar heb staan om gelezen te worden.
I really needed this. I loved that Luna was blind, it something different. Only this is that she acted a little slow at times and the plot twist weren’t that surprising.
3.5. No major problems. I know it's not a 5 star, but I feel weird giving it a 4, and a 3 seems too low so 3.5 haha. Book 2 for my 7 in 7 read-a-thon and it's only the morning of day2.
