I love all of Jodi Picoult's books. However, this one I tend to recommend more often than some of the others. She always writes about interesting/controversial topics.

I read this book for the first time years ago, but I knew I'd completely forgotten the story even though I know I loved it, so I decided to reread it, and I wasn't disappointed. This story is more than some of her others that just end up revolving around a controversial court case; there's no court case at all in this story. There's a 70 year old unsolved murder, but no court and no lawyers, which makes it feel more organic to me. Plus, it's about ghosts. If you enjoy anything to do with ghosts, I'd definitely recommend this book to you.

As usual, Jodi Picoult delivers a touching, beautifully written book. A ghost hunter who searches for his dead fiancee encounters another ghost from the past and falls in love with her. As the story unfolds, so does a mystery and things aren't what they appear on the surface. Couldn't put it down.

Not her best! I love everything I've read by her, but this felt disjointed and had little flow. No strong characters either. I'd skip this one honestly!

I normally like Jodi Picoult but this one had too many characters and a plot line that left a little to be desired.
