I normally like Jodi Picoult but this one had too many characters and a plot line that left a little to be desired.

Like other Picoult books, the story introduces a bunch of characters all at once. Some with secrets, some looking for the meaning of life and some that see dead people. I really liked it. It started kind of slow, but by the middle, I couldn't put it down.
I really enjoyed this book. It crossed much time and distance with its star crossed lovers.

Dear Ms. Picoult,
It's not you, it's me. This isn't my type of book. I can think you can write. I'm aware of the dedication you put to your craft. This book, however, doesn't do it for me for some reason. Sorry.

This was not one of my favourite works of Jodi Picoult. Everything was really far-fetched, and also predictable. It didn't contain that level of realism that her other books usually have.
I love that Jodi Picoult's book provide you with a story you can just get lost in and that they're quick reads. However, after reading many of her books you begin to be able to predict what will happen and between which characters. Second Glance became predictable, but that's okay. it had a creepy ghost story aspect to it. which was different for her books, and I liked to insight into the Abenaki culture. Overall a decent book.
