I started this book being sooo excited, the synopsis gripped me completely. And although I did like the book and I did like the trope, there were a few things that brought this book down for me.
My biggest negative was that I definitely thought it could have done without the reverse harem trope. There was a clear connection between two of the characters which blatantly wasn't there with the others which I think needs to be there in a reverse harem otherwise it seems forced. Also the story was a good story, there was drama and heartache.. it really didn't need that extra reverse harem at all it ruined parts for me.

I love Siobhan and this has been one of my favorites. This was my first listen but l've read the book several times over the years.
This book takes us on an emotional journey that really touches your heart. It had so many shocking moments and a great story with extraordinary characters.
The audiobook was performed by Sarah Puckett who did an excellent job with the raw emotion and all the roles. I would have liked duet since so many males I sometimes lost who was talking but otherwise solid performance.

Seniors or not, there is no reason in this world why we need a REVERSE HAREM story set in literal HIGH SCHOOL. Did no one feel the same ick that I did? Did this bother no one else?
Not at all to take away from the tragedies and traumas experienced by our FMC, and I was thrilled by the mentions of positive therapies, but the responses and interactions in this story just felt odd. Seeing Skeets happy, openly poly family was wonderful, but all the other dynamics never clicked for me. The relationships didn't make sense. I never really felt any real connections beginning or even any genuine, instant chemistry to be built on. I rooted for them all as individuals, sure, but this dynamic should have never worked.
Really, Surviving Amber Springs felt like it was a RH just so the author could say she had written an RH novel.

This book was so good but it takes you on an emotional ride. When you finally feel like finally things are looking up a new piece of information pops up an ruins everything.
I wasn’t sure if I should read this book because of other comment saying it my trigger me, but I’m glad I did.

Really heavy subject matters, check trigger warnings!!!
Wow, that really blew me away. I expected an RH romance like all the others out there but I realised early in the book I had something else in my hands. The topics which are addressed in this book are really difficult and deep topics but important ones and I'm impressed how the author handled all that. I was crying most of the book. The injustice was hard to shallow and I felt so deep for Blaire and what she and her family had to endure. Unfortunately there are some people in reality that can be so cruel and beat down others without having a clue what they're doing to those people.
This book tore at my heart and I loved the relationship between Blair and her guys. It felt realistic and every guy had his own personality. And of cause I was very satisfied with the ending. Don't know if it can be called an realistic ending but I needed an happy end after all those deep emotions running through me.

I’m not an expert in RH but this felt like she had more connection with one tan the other two. In the beginning I was eating this book up but idk towards the ending it was giving meh like idk I enjoyed it but it felt a little rushed and stuff was just being thrown in

Best book I've read in months. Took my heart by breaking it and repairing it to break it again and bring it back to full.
