This makes me cry, i feel so bad for ethan and i kinda hate lucinda a little bit but overall i like this book. A rollercoaster indeed.
Flock review. I enjoy Siobhan Davis writing and all the books I have read so far I have enjoyed them immensely, this one was no exception, although I got the audiobook this time. This is a reverse harem story with a storyline that made it perfect. The characters are amazing and the relationship and development between them was very well done. The emotional part of the story was definitely on the high roller-coaster, it was deep and definitely made me hear it in record time, I just couldn't stop. Narrators Sarah Puckett and Paul Stefano did a fantastic job portraying their characters, the editing was very well done, definitely would recommend you get the audiobook.
I don’t know what I was expecting going into this but wow, Siobhan Davis surpassed all expectations.
Blaire’s story was heartbreaking. She is incredible for surviving all she did and still having so much kindness and forgiveness in her heart. And her boys, *swoon*. We've got golden retriever Skeet, broody Axel, and sweet Heath. This is an FMMM and the author did a fantastic job in exploring the FMC’s relationship with each MMC.
If you’re a fan of Meagan Brandy, you’ll like this book. It felt a lot like I was reading about the Brayshaw Boys with an RH twist.
After a tragedy, Blaire moves to a different city to escape her past. There she meets Axel, Skeet, and Heath, who take her under their wing, but slowly her past comes back to haunt her.
✅ FMMM

How to write a review about a book the touches your heart so deeply? Or a review of a book that you would like to get on your rooftop and announce to all those within earshot that they MUST READ THIS BOOK!!! One other book of Siobhan’s affected me this powerfully, and that was Inseparable. I mean, don’t get me wrong, ALL of Siobhan’s book affect us powerfully in one way or another, and to one degree or another! But Inseparable and now Surviving Amber Springs, they Knocked me off my feet. Once i get my bearings again, then all i want to do is announce to the world how amazing the book is!!!
Blaire has been through the most traumatic experience a person can go through. She’s moved and is trying to move on with her life. Meeting Skeet, Axel and Heath was the absolute best thing that ever happened to her. I don’t want to go on any further and ruin the book for anyone. But I will say, with Axel, Heath & Skeet you really have your choice of great book boyfriends. My favorite being Axel.

Surviving Amber Springs was a crazy emotional story that kept me hanging on even through the tears. It deals with issues that are difficult to hear, but I thought the issues around suicide and self harm were so emotional because it was well thought out and the emotions were so raw.
Blaire deals with a lot of traumatic events, and yet she is still strong, but relatable. The guys were caring and their relationships were not always easy, but they showed that they cared.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story, but it was very emotional. Make sure to grab your tissues.

The book was okay. It did have some great parts in it and it did make me cry but I still had some problems with the book.
So the guys Skeet, Axel and Heath. I hate the name Skeet but he was definitely my favorite. Axel was portrayed as this bad boy but he really wasn’t. He is actually pretty soft or maybe that’s just around Blair.. as for Heath - I didn’t really feel anything for him. He was just there.
The second half of the book was my main issue. Everything just sort of felt rushed and everyone was forgiving each other so quickly. I get that Blair was in a better place and all that but those people did something terrible and she was so quick to forgive them. And the guys were also really quick to forgive Blair..

A strong 3 stars - I loved the story overall, but the writing felt immature and repetitive at times which would pull me out of the story. The dialogue often didn’t feel natural and I struggle with that.
It was a solid YA/NA reverse harem romance, a lot of angst and trauma - definitely check the trigger warnings!
My biggest issue was that I really didn’t like one of the guys. I loved the intensity of Axel and how playful and sincere Skeet was, but I borderline hated Heath and I didn’t understand his relationship with any of the others. He didn’t fit the dynamic for me.
