compared to my other audiobook reads, i had to pay a lot of attention to follow the plot of this, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing just different. i think listening to it as an audiobook made it far less daunting 

the world building in this was insane-def worth the hype

also wtf i was not expecting

the bene gesserit to be a breeding scheme 🥸🥲

As a big fan of the recent films I wasn't sure what to expected by going back to the original source. In short, my eyes have turned deepest, darkest blue and I yearn to ride a Maker.
