Never have I been all that interested in sci-fi. In fact, I picked up this book simply because I knew it was well known and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. At no point before picking up this book did I think I would actually like it. Yet here I am, at the end. I love this book, in plain words. The world building is simply phenomenal and the complex political system is STUNNING. Even if, like me, you’re not a fan of sci-Fri but love detailed worlds I BEG OF YOU please give this a shot.

Wow.
It's been awhile since I read something that so completely enveloped me in its world. Even though the writing style took a bit of getting used to, the fullness and depth of...well, everything...kept pulling me into the story.
I loved the intricacies of the politics and hearing the different philosophies of deep-thinking characters. I wouldn't be surprised if half of it went over my head, but that's okay.
