Definitely kept me on my toes. I did see most of the twists coming but I still didn’t want to put it down!
Was Eden annoying and dumb? Yes but come on the girl was going through a lot, and I personally relate to her keen ability to not see any red flags in a man. This one was definitely binge-worthy and fascinating from page 1. Would recommend!

I gave this book a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating, it is SO good and I highly recommend!
This book gave me major Freida McFadden "The Housemaid" vibes, or Freida's writing style in general. It made me feel very similar throughout the whole book and I didn't want to put it down. This is a psychological thriller with a touch of spice in the beginning that almost made me forget I was reading a thriller. But once the story gets going, things become much more "thriller esque". I even got spooked in certain parts of the book and had to cuddle up with my boyfriend cause this book triggered a phobia of mine. I won't say so I don't reveal the spoilers, but check trigger warnings.
I think this one is my favorite thriller of the year and I feel like this deserves more hype. I got early access to this book from Amazon First Reads for February, and this book officially came out March 1st.

This could have been good but it missed the mark for me. I find I can't connect with the characters and I feel outside the story - and as this is the second book by her, she'll be a miss from now on. I found that a lot of the story was repeated several times which is so challenging when you sit to binge a book. What this book is though is a popcorn thriller. If you need something to pull you back into the thriller genre, and you really like the vibes - this will do it. Be warned that the mama-drama is very very real and repeated very regularly. So it's not quite an escape.
