BDISIDOOE THIS BOOK OH MY GOD. My first ever military romance and I must say, IM NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!! Danny is perfect and just a baby, and Ari is so cute I just love her. The spice was perfect, the plot was perfect, the characters, twists, and EVERYTHING was 🫡🤌 GOSH I can’t get enough!! I loved how possessive he was, how much he cared for her, and even with the little surprise near the end. Military confidentiality sucks. I know second hand (relative who was also a SEAL) about not knowing anything. Knowing how difficult it must have been to tell Ari about anything that happened tore at my heart, and I just love them!! Ahhhh amazing book!!!!!!!

DNF at 50%. I don’t know how many tropes this writer wanted to include but I stopped counting. I think that there would be even more if I continued reading. The writing felt rushed and superficial. This book contains some heavy subjects but I wasn’t able to feel them. Also the mmc is just an asshole. At first I thought we would get an explanation for his behaviour but again and again he treats her like shit. He’s almost as bad as her ex and that’s saying something. I gave it a good shot but I won’t continue reading and I probably won’t read anything from this author again. 2,25 stars rounded down.

Loved It!!!!!

I loved this introduction to the series!

Ari made cringe a few times and Meredith pissed me off and made me roll my eyes but it was still a very good story.

There was y a healthy balance of plot, angst, emotions and spice that made me just appreciate how a lot of parts of this correlates easily to real life…

Honestly cannot wait to start book 2!!!!!
