I just finished A Wolf Steps in Blood and I loved it! It is full of earthy treasures, wealth, beauty, and humble magic. I will use it as a spirit tool. You and the team in your acknowledgement made a powerful legacy work. Just like Octavia and James, you did a lot with few words. Some people take thousands of pages over many books and do not have the depth of this work.
The two bonded mates are tender, strong, and sexy. The supporting characters make me want to hear their stories.
The blood in the story has lifeforce and respect. There is no pulp fiction salacious gore for gore's sake.
