The Rose was awesome. I loved the way the author wove Greek mythology into a modern story. I also loved the fact that it was a super naughty read yet it highlighted serious issues. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend to those who love erotic romance.

Yes! This is exactly what I want from an erotic romance! Loveable characters, and intriguing storyline (it helps that it leans into Greek mythology as well) and of course lots of well written and very steamy sex. The MMC, August, is a delight and our FMC Lia is just a wonderful ball of contradictions who is slowly unwound by August.

Better than the first book in the series for me - more story and a twist that I should have seen coming from miles away but felt more earned.

Holysh-t this is good. Yes, very streamy but I was really into the main characters' relationship throughout the book. They are so funny and lovely together.

An interesting take on some Greek myths. I liked August Bowman, but Ophelia was a little—confusing. Overall an okay listen. The spice felt a little more clinical than hot.
