Just okay. The men finally get their act together. Finally got some spice. The flight collectively come together to be the change they want to see.

I don’t like that the flight had to do tasks to become a part of the counsel. Simply because the counsel doesn’t do these tasks regularly, enforcers do.

My biggest issue was that no one seemed to have issues with the counsel until Shira. I don’t like that Ilia’s flight were the only “good” counselor members. Like how convenient. Flight Gallon did the counsels bidding as enforcers. And why haven’t they tried to do more to make the counsel better. I’m sure the counsel has been doing nefarious acts before Shira.

Chapter 23 should’ve been an epilogue. And who is Regina?

Misuse of a few words. Out of no where one of the characters spike slang. “You feel me?” Uhhh ok.

This book was a definite improvement on the last one, although it's an argument for the books because of how well the character development worked.

I loved the mates. Their transition between books was handled so well, and I love Shira. My favourite scenes were the last 80% of the book featuring the trials and it added to it, because this book lacked a clear plot aim to it like the last.

I liked it, but 3.5 is as high I'd rate it. Easy reading.

A satisfying conclusion. Shira got her bloody revenge in book one, now it's time to bond with the (mostly) reformed sexist jerks in her fated mates group and smash the dragon patriarchy. Solve dragon murders and legalize dragon contraception, y'all!

Ok, so this book was better than that first one that's for sure. The ending was ok I totally saw it coming and I loved the growth of the charters. Ya, that’s it, if you read the first just read this one and be happy. Till next time!!

I liked the focus on trauma and women’s rights in this series although I did feel like the male MCs lacked depth.
