Really fun rom-com with a great setting, terrific leads, and an engaging plot. Plus I loved that it was sex positive (while acknowledging some ways to approach sexual activity are healthier than others) and that both leads were open and unashamed in talking about their mental health. Recommended.

This book was pretty meh. Quinn was pretty annoying and I found it hard to believe that she would be so afraid of commitment because her parents had a rough patch TEN years ago and have been perfectly fine ever since. It just didn't make any sense. The romance was blah and nothing ever really hooked me in. Overall, skip this one.

Poor rep. Of a Muslim character, writing so/so, same issues with today tonight tomorrow, the other book I wrote with this author.

The main character annoyed me at times, but the story also had some cute moments.

the story is cute, the characters are cute, the trope is cute… what not to like?

Instead of taking the moral of this story to heart, I remain the main character at the beginning and now firmly believe love doesn’t exist. This…was like wading through sludge. And why do authors insist on explaining every nuance someone has with “oh, hahaha, that’s my MENTAL ILLNESS.” This is the second book in a row for me. My favorite part was when one character said he doesn’t know if he can open a bakery because of DEPRESSION. Like…out of nowhere. I hate love.
