This is what you get when an author writes one successful series of books and then never adds anything original.

I liked the stories and the cast of the book. I did think Dumbledore's reviews after each story were too long. Longer than some of the stories at times but overall, a good audiobook.

A quirky and magical little book set in the world of Harry Potter. A lovely little bit of escapism, Rowling has done it again :)
medium-paced

A lovely and short read for when you're stuck in bed but don't want to use your brain too much :)

I particularly liked "The Fountain of Fair Fortune."

These stories were very enjoyable for a Harry Potter nerd like me, but I think they would be enjoyable out of context too (although Dumbledore's commentary maybe not so much).

I even think they would make good bedtime tale for kids who are not yet ready for Harry Potter (like 3-5th graders).

Enjoyed it for the interesting magical tales with a moralistic bent, and can't help but wonder what Harry and his friends thought while reading them.

This is a lovely book, it has all the supposed witch and wizard childhood stories, including The Tale of the Three Brothers, which made me squeel with happiness! It's heart warming reading these stories, one because it feels as though they have been pulled from the Harry Potter books, and two because well, who doesn't love an old witch or wizard tale?

Anyone who loves Harry Potter will love this book and the many stories it holds within it!
