A compelling start to a series! The concept is interesting and the characters have the potential to be very interesting. I am eager to see how things continue to develop and what reveals and plot twists come in the second book. Similar to the Silo Series, I have a feeling that Sand is (no pun intended) just scratching the surface) of what is ahead.

An intriguing novel, but not at the same level as the Silo series. The world, the mystery, the characters just aren't quite as developed nor as well written as in Silo. It still has its interest, the concepts are novel, the world is unique, but I wanted more to it than was there.
