Had lots of fun with this, a very solid 4 stars.

The concept was obviously very intriguing and it held up. The plot was fun, fast and tense. I appreciated there werent any forced ridiculous twists that I think some thrillers seem to feel the need to squeeze in.

I actually found it really easy to route for the main character and grew kinda attached, which I didn't expect. I really appreciated the respect the author showed for camming and women in the sex industry, which was pretty refreshing.

Excited that this is going to be a series, and one I definitely intend on continuing

I love it!!! I hate saying this but this is another very scorpio book and i love that. The first half of the book was the introduction to our main character and what would be the base of the conflict in this book. It was very interesting for me, because the mc is a cam girl, a profession that is not often portrayed in media. But because I expected a thriller, it got a little slow (plus i had to stop reading this book for a month because of ramadan lol). But the latter half, it went into action and it was all so so satisfying!

Some triggers:
- some pedophilia, thoughts of a pedophile but there's no description of an assault to a child. so, it's not graphic.
- explanations of kinks. this is a very sexual book but it was all explained very professionally. othere than that the most we got is some make out scenes
- gore. blood. explanations on how to kill people. but i would say from 1 to 10, the graphicness is a 5

i LOVED this book - such a unique premise, i’ve never read anything like it before. the first half of the book is very different from the second half of the book, but i loved them both for different reasons. i definitely want to read the rest of this series.

I guess the writer is skilled enough because I could not stop reading, and yet, I was left unsatisfied at the end.

I didn't mind having to suspend my disbelief for the main character's living situation. My issue with the story was all about the characters and resolution to the main conflict. Deanna is very much a tell don't show person. She has these sick fantasies but can't back it up in a fight. She makes irresponsible and impulsive decisions just to feel like the main character and that's why the ending is so bad and unbelievable. Jeremy (love interest) is absolutely useless. All you know about him is that he is good looking, hung up on Deanna, just as dumb, and while doing literally nothing but standing there, he managed to cure her, or at least, find a compromise.
