I liked the tropes in this one: small town, single mom and found family.  I loved the couple and Knox was a dream, I liked there was no third act break-up, they were just an incredible adult type of couple! 

Something I wished there had been more was the interactions between the couple and Knox family. It was hinted on, but not explored enough or at least we were told and not shown.

But I loved the small town vibes ans the love story. I hope the next books are able to give us more about the family and their connections.

Very fall and and winter vibes in this one. The mystery wasn't as gripping to me as the first book but I love all these characters and Quincy so much that it was still fun to read.
