Great book! Mainly fantasy with a forbidden saphic romance. (Princess x servant) and loved the characters. Although this book was great I think it was very much a lot of world building for the second book (which I’m very excited to read!). The writing was great and never got slow.

This is probably my new favorite book. Sapphics, Sci-Fi, Angst, what's not to like.

I'm never usually a 'love at first sight' kind of reader, but this was combined with such a heady mix of star-crossed lovers and enemies-to-lovers that I think my entire brain chemistry has been rewritten.
