is this relationship healthy? no. is it hot? very.

Hockey romance? Enemies to lovers? And second chance? Yes please! Cam and Riley have chemistry from the jump even when they hate each other. Their dynamic works so well and the moments of sweetness they settle into are perfectly them. Also the confessions in the rain? 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Honestly, if you're just looking for some nice smut, you'll probably like this. But I wasn't really finding myself that interested in either MMC. They didn't have very strongly unique personalities, not enough for me to care about them. But there are readers out there who this book is for. And I hope it finds them.

Those sex positions were HAWT, omfg.

But aside from that, the story was compelling. Cam has self-esteem and abandonment issues, which translates over to his relationship with Riley. Cam basically tosses their relationship in the trash and leaves the state.

3 years later, Riley, never having gotten over Cam, is captain of his college hockey team. And then Cam shows up, more than ready for whatever bitterness Riley wants to throw his way.

I enjoyed a lot about Crossing Blades: the leads were believable, their tension was sexy and taut, and their inevitable fall back into relationship satisfyingly timed. That said, the author misuses enough vocabulary that I found it distracting. If corrections were made, I would bump my review to a four. I read an advanced reader copy and am providing my honest opinion.

Overall i enjoyed this first book in the series.Cam &
Riley were great characters.Riley was heartbroken
over Cams choice to leave him & held a grudge
because of his heartbreak.Cam had issues of his
own & didn't want to face the fact that choices he
made may not of been the right ones. The push &
pull between these characters was written so well
as was the sexual tension & the chemistry...woah,
those scenes were enjoyable.Looking forward to
