A little slower paced to start - though I didn't necessarily feel like anything was extraneous.  That being said I did feel like there were some plot lines that were fully resolved or resolved in a satisfactory manner.  Enjoyed how the story unfolded showing multiple times - but not in a dual timeline back and forth way.  The back and forth can sometimes leave me a little frustrated.  Good mystery that makes me inclined to take a look at the author's backlist.

This Noel had a lot going for it. A very interesting plot that was developing well and then all of a sudden the book ended. It didn’t wrap up. The author tried to create an epilogue to tie everything together but failed to do that. When I finish reading a book, I want it to end not leave open questions.
