LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Not much more I can say about this Five Points and Sinners crossover! Mary Catherine and Digger are such a great couple. I love the whole runaway to get married and then fall in love on the way.

The love story to heal
After closing the chapters with Filthy Lies and Filthy Truth, Filthy Sinner was just the love story that I needed. The story between MaryCat and Digger is absolutely beautiful and awesome. It’s a crossover that occurs very early in the series, right after Filthy and some of our favorite Feckers do make an appearance.
This is definitely another well done story to add to the universe the Serena has created!

I really did not like [b:Filthy|58693584|Filthy (The Five Points' Mob Collection, #1)|Serena Akeroyd|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1628002312l/58693584._SY75_.jpg|86681287], I found the writing awkward, the humour grating and disliked Finn enormously (at least for the 15% I forced myself to read before DNFing.) I saw reviews that said this one was much better, and they weren't wrong. I can't believe this was written by the same person, I adored both MaryCat and Digger, the humour hit just the right note and whilst there was some repetitiveness about the story I was 100% engaged by it.
My biggest gripe would be that for an MC/Mafia book, there was very little action in this one, it didn't have the grittiness I look for in those subgenres. The one scene towards the end wasn't enough, and even there the punches were pulled somewhat. I wasn't sure if the author was sanitising Digger or avoiding the Amazon bots, who totally have it in for the romance genre.
Whilst I never got a sense of tension or danger I did feel invested in the attraction and developing feelings between Digger and MaryCat. This was enough to allow me to thoroughly enjoy reading the story AND left me interested in reading the next book too.

I was able to read a portion of this book when it was in an anthology and the author ended up making it into a full length book and I AM SO GLAD! I love love love the Sinners and the Five Points and you get both of them in this book! MaryCat’s dad, who is in the Five Points decides he’s going to arrange a marriage for his daughter to a gross old man and MC ain’t having any part of that! She runs to the Sinners to try to find her brother but ends up meeting Digger who comes up with a plan to get her out of the arranged marriage. They set off for Vegas and surely you know what happens there. *wink wink* Digger’s plan doesn’t exactly go the way it should though so there’s a lot of conflict. But I LOVE Digger and MC together. I was a little sad that we didn’t get to see any more about Digger’s artistic abilities but I love his instant protectiveness of MaryCat. Her growth throughout the book was so great to see. She’s silly, she’s funny, she’s so so sweet. I love her strength and I love how strong being with Digger makes her! She stands up for her man. And she stands up to her Five Points family. Which I LOVE. We get to see Aidan Sr too and it made me realize how I miss him a little bit! This story was so good. We got to read this book without any conflict with the Sparrows. It was nice! I will recommend this to anyone who is interested in the Sinners or Five Points series!

With this being my first book read in Serena’s series, this hit every requirement, personally, for a spicy book. I can’t wait to continue lol I feel like I need to make a family tree.
