The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis was my BOTM January 2022 pick, and I adored it! After a slow start, I found myself so invested in both stories and how they intertwined. I was definitely not expecting the mystery aspect, and I was so surprised at the ending. My absolute favorite parts of this book were the art history and descriptions of the time period. I want to go visit The Frick Collection now!

This was a fun book and I enjoyed learning some of the Frick family history. I definitely want to read more about Audrey Munson and and the Frick family.
